It is not I, but the Christ within,
who does the work!

 What We Believe
God gave us freedom of choice.  Unfortunately, many have used this freedom to bind themselves to ignorance--throwing up walls of guilt in consciousness, thus cutting themselves off from the flow of God's abundant Good.

Collectively, we have built up false beliefs about sin, sickness and death.  This causes us to lose sight of the true meaning of life, which is that we are children of God.  As such, it is our privilege, in fact our very mission, to be heirs to God's kingdom.

The number or seriousness of past mistakes does not matter to God.  God holds no grudges--has no account book.  IF we have "gone astray," God is always ready to give us a helping hand if we are ready to accept it.

Unity teaches us that there is a divine law of prosperity.  By getting in rhythm with the principle of "giving and receiving," we can demonstrate unlimited supply to meet all our needs.  The secret is that we must remain open, receptive, responsive and obedient channels for the inflow and outflow of God's unlimited Good.

Unity assures us that if just one person has learned the secret of successful living, then we all can, because "God shows no partiality." (Acts 10:34)

Unity also believes that we all have virtually unlimited potential for spiritual growth and expression of our true nature.  After all, our Master Teacher (Jesus) told us: "Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do, and in fact, will do greater works than these." (John 14:12).  If we truly take these words to heart, we can heal ourselves of all dis-ease of mind, body and soul.

Unity is an adventure because it teaches us how to pray affirmatively.  Prayer in its purest form is simple.  It is not an egotistical attempt to convince God to do things our way.  Rather, it is for the purpose of bringing our own thinking into line with God-Will.  This is a matter of concentrating on God, affirming a positive statement of truth, meditating on divine principle, and turning within one's own being to what Unity calls "the Silence," wherein one becomes more receptive to the "still small voice."

Finally, Unity is an adventure because it brings God and the kingdom of heaven right into the "here and now" and acknowledges God as a full-time partner in our daily living.

Even in these contemporary times, we have a tendency to visualize God sitting on a golden throne, in a cloudy heaven with pearly gates, somewhere "out there."  But, "The kingdom of God is within you," (Luke 17:21) and "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)

Today, leading theologians realize that we must expand our thinking where God is concerned if we are to keep the findings of science and religion compatible.

Unity says that "heaven can't wait."  Too many people put heaven off until some time in the future; but, it can't wait!  Heaven is here and now, pressing in upon us, waiting for us to acknowledge and accept it!   Each of us is a unique, spiritual creation, a divine original with his or here own God-given spark, capable of becoming a channel for God's love to pour forth into the world.  That is God's plan.  It is up to us to get into harmony with it.

Yes, life can become a thrilling adventure.  Unity helps us on this journey by arousing our curiosity about our spiritual nature, by showing us how to be open and receptive to our good, by helping us learn to pray successfully, and by making God a full-time partner in life.

"God is Absolute Good"There is no possibility that God will ever judge, punish or withhold His infinite love from you, His beloved child.
"Prosperity is Your Birthright"God is the source of all that is good. Your consciousness of God is your supply. God doesn't have what you want, God IS what you want.
"All Healing is from God"Anything less than perfect health can always be remedied by an increased experience of the presence of God.

With God. All Things are Possible!
